    I cannot begin to express how thankful I am for the care that my cat received on tuesday! Being that I was visiting town and away from my usual vet, this problem caused immense stress only increased by the fact that I was turned away by THREE other vets before your clinic allowed us a same-day appointment. Dr. Hoover was very professional and comforting, and provided me with a wealth of information in case this occurs again in the future. Thank you SO much, and if I ever need pet care again in the area I will definitely bring Hallie here!

    Our Maggie is a 12 year old golden and has aging problems. This is a very difficult time in our life and Maggie’s. The last time I was in, the doctor sat on the floor for a while and talked about Maggie and how we should proceed with her care. I had questions about the end of her life and the doctor was so nice.     I have used several vets over the years and by far this has been the best yet. Everyone at the facility has always been so nice and understanding. I know to work at a vet clinic that you “should” have a love of animals; however, at this clinic the entire staff goes above and beyond to make you and your four-legged family member feel good.

  • Shippensburg animal hospital is great with both my cats
    My one cat does not like to be handled for more than 30 seconds. The other loves to play biting and scratching to the point of lesving scars .We choose to declaw our second cat for this reason .Shippensburg animal hospital is great with both my cats ..thry try not to bother the one that dors like to be handled while still doing their job. The second cats been going there since he was 6 weeks old and thry wrte amazing with the declaw and nueter ..my kitty hurting right now from the surgery but the surgical sites look good and seems like he'll heal nicely . they were very professional and informative about his care ..he wasnt even bothered by being away from the family when i picked him up the next day. They must have treated him wonderfully .

    I have been taking Daisy Duke to Shippensburg Animal Hospital since she was found in 2010. She was found in the mountain skin and bones and many ticks covered her . I guess to stay alive she ate toads and bugs. Shippensburg Animal Hospital took really great care of her. got all of her shots up to date and Spaded her and she is in great health today. I count my blessing to have this Hospital taking care of her any time she is in need. Most recently a treatment of allergies and lumps forming on her. I never have a problem with getting appointments for her they always try to meet my needs. So a big THANK YOU to Shippensburg Animal Hospital.

    We have taken our animals to this vet for years. They have been wonderful and go out of their way to assist with our pets. We just had our German Shepherd Ebony put down and it was very hard. The staff and the vets were fantastic and very kind. One time our cat Nina knocked my pin cushion off the table and Ebony got a needle stuck in her mouth. It was on a Sunday. They met us at the hospital to take care of her. That meant a lot to us. Also the fee was reasonable. If we decide to get any more pets we will have them treated at this facility.

    I have had the great experience of having four Brittany puppies this summer. All of my visits to the Shippensburg Animal Hospital have been great. The staff is friendly and helpful, the enviornment is pet friendly and the veterinarians friendly and professional. I had one visit that was close to "emergency" status, and when I called, the response was, come to the office, we will work you in." I did not have a long wait. I was very pleased with that visit. Taking four eight week old puppies took three of us, and once again, the visit went smoothly. I am looking forward to our Friday visit!
