I grew up in Sparks, Nevada on our family’s hobby farm with horses, sheep, and chickens. I graduated cum laude with my bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2009 and with my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Washington State University in 2013. I completed a food animal internship in 2014 with the University of Illinois Rural Animal Health Management Service. I am currently finishing my American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine and American Board of Veterinary Practitioners large animal internal medicine residencies at the University of Illinois and earning my master’s degree in Veterinary Clinical Medicine with my master’s research project focusing on Bovine Respiratory Disease. In my spare time, I enjoy knitting, reading, and baking. I am owned by two adopted cats, Beatrix and Thaddeus. I am excited to join Shippensburg Animal Hospital and look forward to meeting and working with you.
